I am delighted to announce that Dovedale Infant School on Herondale Road have won our competition to get £250 worth of book vouchers to update their library.
All the entries were fantastic, and it was a very difficult decision – but Dovedale came out on top after children at the school wrote to me saying how much they love books, and how much they enjoy reading and learning.
I’d like to congratulate all the schools and children who applied and thank them for taking such an interest in developing and increasing reading opportunities in our primary and infant schools.
However, there could only be one winner, so well done to Tia, David, and Mia at Dovedale who wrote brilliant letters to me saying how much they would benefit from the vouchers – and of course Miss Hilton too for her support.
