Since I was selected just a few weeks ago, Wavertree Labour’s campaign team of dedicated volunteers has grown. People from right across the constituency are working hard with me to get our message across. The wind is in our sails, but we’re only just getting started.
As we move towards the general election, and Liverpool’s council elections, it is even more important that we tell people exactly why we think they should vote for Labour in Wavertree.
The campaign has got off to a great beginning, but there is so much to be done: on the doorsteps, at the school gates or in other ways like giving a small donation.
The next election is a choice between a Labour and Conservative Government.
The Lib Dems can’t win; but they can throw us into reverse gear.
This election must be about how we improve real people’s lives. I want to get the substance across and to do that I need your help.
